Alicia M. Sosa
Alicia M. Sosa obtained her Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Civil Law from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law School in 2011. She graduated with honors from LSU Law. Prior to law school, Alicia attended Louisiana State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Political Science with a minor in Spanish.
While in law school, Alicia was a Law Clerk for the Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator’s Office during the Deepwater Horizon BP Oil Spill in 2010. Alicia also interned for the Governor’s Office and Judge Welch at the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Furthermore, Alicia was a member of the LSU Law’s Public Interest Law Society and the Legal Association of Women. As a member of these organizations, she participated in several community service projects.

Upon passing the Bar Exam, Alicia became licensed to practice in Louisiana. She is licensed to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts as well as the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Alicia is fluent in Spanish. She learned Spanish as a young child from her Cuban mother and Honduran father. With this diverse background, she is able to communicate effectively and compassionately to those who are not fluent in English. Although she specializes in personal injury actions, Alicia often finds herself in Court helping Spanish-speaking individuals with varying legal issues. Alicia has a genuine compassion for those less fortunate and she often gives a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.
When Alicia is not working, she spends her time with her family and friends.
Alicia is more than a personal injury attorney; she is an intellectual, a pioneer, and a voice.
